Staking Rewards Fees, Decentralization in the Cosmos, and More
Staking Rewards Fees on Quicksilver š
The Quicksilver team recently showcased another innovative feature of the ProtocolāStaking Rewards Fees collected on the Protocol will be distributed to QCK stakers on an epochly basis.
Initially, QCK stakers will earn $Atom, $Juno, and $Osmo through this mechanism, but eventually, QCK stakers will earn the native assets of all onboarded chains by simply staking their QCK tokens. The distribution of Staking Rewards Fees among QCK stakers aims to further anchor the Quicksilver Community in the Cosmos.

Decentralizing EVMOS āļø
Earlier this month, Frens Validator realized that, if the top 5 validators on Evmos went offline, they could halt the chain. After Frens Validator took the announcement to Twitter, the Evmos community quickly came together to redelegate their stake, and the dominance of the top 5 validators went down by 1.7%. With decentralization being one of Quicksilverās main drivers, we can only extend praise to both Frens Validatorāfor acting against their financial interests in pointing out the issueāand the Evmos Community for their responsiveness, and working together to make Evmos more secure.
